KENYAN PARTNERS
WORKING TOGETHER IN NORTHERN KENYA
Save The Elephants partnered with KKOS in producing a unique film with Pastoralist kids themselves speaking out for wildlife conservation, asking “What’s In Your Backyard?” and what will be left in Kenya’s backyard if we don’t pay attention to encroachment, poaching and monitoring wildlife. STE works closely in educating Samburu school children through its own programs and KKOS visits on wildlife photo drives.
LION KIDS CAMP + KENYAN KIDS ON SAFARI
WORKING TOGETHER IN SOUTHERN KENYA
We are seeking a Kenyan conservation partner in Maasai Mara that can expand on what we are already achieving – similar to Ewaso Lions and Save the Elephants in Samburu and Westgate.
Moses Kasoe – 11/16/17 – “As the Mara area region leader I have seen a very big light tunnel of empowerment to our kids in conservation. I participated (in the KKOS Sarova Mara Program) on behalf of Kenya government to make our kids after training get recognized with a certificate signed on behalf of the government.”
Moses Kasoe – 11/20/17 – “The idea (of KKOS) will improve standard of living, education, health and broaden know-how.”
